Are y'all ready for this??

So, Chuck decided he wanted to start his own softball team (men's St. George league), and he couldn't decide on a name. Well, he finally came up with one. Are you ready for it?? Okay, it's the 'SHOCKERS'!! Yep, that's right, the shockers. And, yes, it does mean what you think it means, hence the logo at the bottom of the shirt (if you don't know what it means....google it...or don't). I thought it was pretty freaking hilarious myself, but I have a feeling not everybody will feel that way. In fact, when I told my mom, she just stared at me and said, "everyone will look at YOU funny, because they will think you are into that sort of thing." Wow mom.....AWKWARD!!! I told Chuck I wanted my own T-shirt, but I thought he would put his name on it with his number (Chuck didn't put his name on his, he put BAMF....what a dork). Well, he put his number on mine, but he put MY first name. I know, I know...how corny. But hey, I have to represent!! I'm sure I'll chicken out and not wear it to the games. I'm afraid all the kids will make fun of me. ;o)
Chuck and I designed the
shirts...I thought they turned
out pretty good.
Go Marcie Go Marcie
Wooooo....SHOCKERS!!!
Yessssss...........

Hope this doesn't offend anybody...if it does, well, then I have a very different sense of humor than you...and I'm very sorry. ;o)

Camping trip

Chuck and I went on our first camping trip together. Kinda weird...we've been married for 6 1/2 years and we've never been camping together. My mom and dad have a camper trailer thing that they park up at Duck Creek during the summer, and we went and stayed with them on Friday (unfortunately we had to head back home on Saturday because Chuck had to go to work today...I wish we could have stayed at least one more night). It was a lot of fun. It was just me, Chuck, my mom, my dad, Jessica and of course Archie. It was so nice and cool up there. It made me NEVER want to come back down to Hurricane again. Bleh....I hate the summers down here. Chuck spent a lot of time with my dad. They did a lot of 4-wheeling. I just hung out around the camper with my mom and Jess. We played a lot of cards, laughed a LOT and ate some very yummy food. That's probably the best part about camping....the FOOD!! My mom made dutch oven peach cobbler....oh wow, I was in heaven. We roasted mallows, starburst and dogs (yum). Anyway, we had so much fun up there, I can't wait to go back up. We didn't really take very many pictures. I just got some pics of Chuck, he was DETERMINED to climb a tree...not quite sure why, but he was...and he did it. It was kinda scary cuz the tree was really tall. But of course that didn't stop him. I'm surprised he didn't get more scratched up. Anyway, here are the pics of Chuck up in his tree.
Can you see him up there??
I thought this picture was really cute.
He's on his way down.
He was so proud of himself...I was too. :o)
Archie had to make sure he was okay. Luckily, he was.
Very minimal damage. Just a couple of scratches.

Hope everyone had a good holiday. It kind of sucks it's already over......{sigh} now it's time to go back to work......

Bragging time

I have to take a moment here to brag about my little sister. Jessica is only 16 years old, and she is such an AMAZING artist. She has been drawing.....forever it seems like. She seriously blows my mind. She definitely got all the talent in the family (or most of it anyway {that sounds pretty rude towards my family...I don't mean it that way}). She's an amazing artist, she plays the piano BEAUTIFULLY, she can listen to a song and then figure out how to play it on her piano. WOW!! She use to play the viola, but she lost interest in that, but that's okay. Wow Jess, you truly are amazing. I hope you keep this up. These are just a few of her drawings. I think some of them are really old, I think she did one or two of them in 7th grade or something. She's working on another one right now. I'll have to post more when she finishes them and I take pictures of them. But for now, you can enjoy these:

Footloose

Tonight I gotta cut loose, Footloose
Kick off your Sunday shoes
Please, Louise
Pull me offa my knees
Jack, get back
C'mon before we crack
Lose your blues
Everybody cut footloose

Last night was a super blasty. My mother-in-law bought tickets to go see Footloose at Tuacahn. It was a lot of fun. It was me, Chuck, his mom, and his bro. She got us 2nd row seats (Thanks Rene', that was so nice of you)...I've never been that close to the stage before. Before we went to the show, we went and ate at Applebee's (yum). I had to get the chicken fajita roll-up. My mouth is watering right now. If you've never had that......shame on you, go try it right now. Anyway, the show was awesome, except I have all of those freaking songs stuck in my head (and now you will, too).

I have to be honest.....the whole night wasn't that great. Tell me how gay balls this is. Okay, so after the show, Chuck and I go to our car to go home (no big surprise there), but when we get in, the stupid car won't start. No noise, nothing. GREAT!! Rene' and Ben left a couple of minutes early to beat the crowd, so they were long gone by the time we got to the car. We were just sitting there staring at each other like 'now what'. We kept looking at people saying 'should we ask them if they have jumper cables'....but we're retarded and never asked anybody. So, we're just sitting there, and sitting there......and sitting there. Chuck told me to get out the owner's manual to check on road side assistance....yeah well, my car is old, and it's not covered anymore, and we didn't feel like paying a butt load of money for them to come out. So we did some more sitting. Finally I remembered that my bro lives just a few minutes away from Tuacahn....except it's almost midnight by this point. So, I ended up calling Justin anyway (who was in bed, but he said he wasn't asleep...luckily), and he came to our rescue. THANK YOU JUSTIN!! We owe you big time. On our way home, Chuck is sweating his butt crack off, so he turns the a/c on....MISTAKE, all the lights in my car start turning off and the engine starts making a weird noise. So, no a/c. OH, and then he freaking falls asleep at the wheel and starts driving off the road. I had to grab the wheel so we wouldn't crash...that was a sobering moment. That scared the crap out of me.

So, needless to say, the show was GREAT, but the rest of the night was not. We didn't get in to bed until around 1:00 or so....I'm just glad I took today off of work. I don't think I would do very well on 2-3 hrs of sleep. But Footloose was awesome!! I would recommend it to anyone.

More pics

I took a butt load of pictures on Sunday, and I wanted to share them all with you , so I made a slide show. I'm a picture-aholic. This isn't even all the pictures that I took.
Enjoy!!

HaPpY fAtHeR's DaY!!

I must say, my dad and I definitely aren't the closest father and daughter there ever was....but I sure do love him and have a great deal of respect for him. He has been such a wonderful father to me and the rest of my siblings. He has taught us all a lot of lessons that we will never forget. Tonight was a fun night, we had Sunday dinner, and Justin and Tyler ACTUALLY came. (yay) We had a yummy dinner, yummy dessert and my dad opened gifts. Justin, Trevor and Chuck were all riding around on Justin's dirt bike. Chuck and Tyler were playing around A LOT (I wish I had energy like them....they did a lot of running). I did get a few pictures of everyone..I'll post those later.
My dad HATES his picture taken, so I really don't have too many of him....but here are a few.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!
This one was taken today when he was opening his Father's Day gifts....I had to hurry and snap at least ONE of him. :o)

I photoshopped the crap out of this one. I took away all of your wrinkles mom and dad...now you both look completely fake. Weird!! But it's still a cute picture.....even if dad does look annoyed. ;o)
